We are pleased to announce that Anirban Lahiri and Danny Lee, two of Chervò’s top sponsored players, will be part of the International team playing in the President’s Cup Korea 2015. The competition will take place at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club, Korea at the beginning of October, the first time this prestigious competition has been played in Asia.
According to the rules both players have to play with the event official clothing during competitions, but are free to wear Chervò clothes during other occasions during their Korean stay.
Danny Lee was awarded his place after finishing 33rd at the Deutsche Bank championship, leaving him inside the top ten on the international points tally. Lahiri, World No 40, qualified automatically, becoming the first Indian to qualify for the Presidents Cup.
Danny Lee, who is a New Zealand citizen but was born in Korea, said “I am very excited. Making the team has been my goal for this year; it was my biggest goal this year.”
The International Team also includes Jason Day, Louis Oosthuizen, Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama, Branden Grace, Marc Leishman, Charl Schwartzel and Thongchai Jaidee.
